LIONS FESTIVE SAFARI
19 December – 4 January
Covid may make us change our plans but it will not stop us Lions altogether!
Our annual Festive Walk has had to be adapted this year along with everything else and so will not be taking place at Baddesley Clinton NT House but instead will take you on a safari around your local village.
There will be 3 Festive Safari routes you can join in on, one passing through each of our fabulous parks – Knowle, Dorridge and Bentley Heath. Along the way you have to look out for our Festive Lions which have escaped and are loose around B93!!
Maps can be downloaded from our website soon and as with our traditional Festive Walk, taking part and the downloadable maps would be free and we would suggest a £5 per the family but any more would be welcome. We know 2020 has hit our local primary schools hard and meant their usual fundraising ventures have had to be cancelled and so all proceeds from this event will be split evenly between our four local Primary schools – Knowle, Dorridge, Bentley Heath & St George and St Teresa’s. Donations can be made via our website www.knowleanddorridgelions.com and every penny earned this year will go directly to the Schools. The safari is running for the whole Christmas break (19th December – 4th January) and can be done at your leisure.
So get outdoors, blow away the cobwebs and let your little ones guide you through a safari like none other and keep safe, keep your social distance and enjoy the exercise.
